- Christian Brothers forward Adam Dieball (Cincinnati, Ohio) is the GSC Men’s Basketball Freshman of the Week for the fourth consecutive week and sixth time this season.
- Dieball averaged 23.5 points, 5.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds and one steals during the week.
- He has averaged 21.75 points per game during his four-week run (eight games) as GSC Freshman of the Week.
- On Thursday, Dieball scored 22 points and had four rebounds in a high-scoring loss at Shorter, 98-91.
- He played a career-high 41 minutes Saturday in an overtime win an 80-78 overtime win at Lee, scoring 25 points and collected five assists, four rebounds and two steals. Dieball drew a foul with 6.6 seconds remaining in regulation and knocked down both free throws to force overtime.
- For the week, Dieball shot 44 percent from the floor (20-of-45).
- Christian Brothers (9-10, 7-6 GSC) is currently tied for fifth, one game behind Delta State, which the Bucs will host Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. CT. Mississippi College will travel to Memphis, Tenn., Thursday night for a 7 p.m. battle at CBU.
