- Christian Brothers forward Adam Dieball (Cincinnati, Ohio) is the GSC Men’s Basketball Freshman of the Week for the third consecutive week and fifth time this season.
- Dieball averaged 16.5 points, six assists, three rebounds and two steals during the week. He has averaged 21.2 points per game over the last six games during his three-week run as GSC Freshman of the Week.
- Last Monday, Dieball scored 17 points and added six rebounds, five assists and two steals in an 82-73 loss at Alabama Huntsville. It was his first 40-minute game of his career.
- On Thursday, Dieball scored the game-tying layup with 3.9 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime against Union. He went on to score nine of the Bucs’ 14 points in OT en route to a 90-82 win. He finished the night with 16 points and seven assists in 27 minutes played.
- For the week, Dieball shot 56.5 percent from the floor (13-of-23), 50 percent (3-of-6) from the 3-point arc and was 4-for-4 from the free throw line.
- Dieball is second for CBU in scoring and the ninth leading scorer in the GSC, averaging 15.1 points per game.
- Christian Brothers (8-9, 6-5 GSC) is currently sixth in the conference standings. The Bucs travel to Shorter on Thursday for an 8 p.m. ET tipoff and Lee on Saturday for a 4 p.m. ET tipoff.
