Adam Dieball (Cincinatti, Ohio) is the GSC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week and GSC Men’s Basketball Freshman of the Week. This is his first GSC Player of the Week selection and third Freshman of the Week honor.
- Dieball is the first GSC men’s basketball player to earn both honors in the same week in the last two seasons.
- The freshman averaged 23 points, seven rebounds and four assists through two games. He also had a block and a steal.
- On New Year’s Eve, Dieball scored five of CBU’s first 10 points during a 10-0 run against Trevecca Nazarene. He finished with a career-high 27 points, six rebounds and a career-high six assists. He shot 9-of-13 from the floor, including 3-of-5 form3-point range, and was 6-of-7 from the charity stripe. CBU beat the Trojans, 79-61.
- In a 73-63 loss to Valdosta State on Saturday, Dieball finished with 19 points and eight rebounds, shooting 8-of-11 from the floor.
- During the two games, Dieball shot 71 percent from the floor (17-of-24) and 67 percent (4-of-6) from 3-point range.
- Christian Brothers also swept the Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week awards Dec. 8.
