North Alabama guard Dimarrio Jackson (Addis, La.) is the GSC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week. This is his first GSC weekly honor of his career.
- Jackson averaged 24.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game to help UNA produce a 2-0 week.
- Jackson scored 33 of his career-high 35 points in the second half Thursday to lead UNA to a 96-87 win over West Georgia.
- He was a perfect 18-of-18 from the free throw line during the week, including a season-high 13 free throws against UWG.
- The junior guard shot 63 percent from the field (10-of-16) against West Georgia and 52.0 percent (13-of-25) for the week, while also shooting 71 percent (5-of-7) from 3-point range.UNA (5-5) will host Lee University and Shorter University in GSC action this week, beginning with Lee on Thursday, Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. CT,
