Marterrace Brock (Memphis, Tenn.) is the GSC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the first time this season and second time in his career. Brock earned MVP honors while helped the Bulldogs to two wins in the Drury Thanksgiving Classic. The senior averaged 23.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks during the two-game performance. He shot 81 percent from the field (13-of-16) in a 30-point performance in a neutral-site win over Truman State before adding 17 points in the Bulldogs’ 75-54 upset at No. 5 Drury. Union (6-0) recorded three wins on the week and will open GSC play at home Thursday, Dec. 3 against Shorter at 8 p.m. CT.
