Shorter goalkeeper Austen Trevers (Sr.; Powder Springs, Ga.) was named the Gulf South Conference Men's Soccer Defender of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Trevers turned in two shutouts in 200 minutes of action last week. He had two saves on 13 shots against Union and five on 18 versus Christian Brothers to help Shorter to a GSC Tournament berth.
