Florida Tech defensive end J.J. Sanders earns his third career laurel and he is the first FIT defender to win honors this year following the Panthers’ 31-14 road triumph over Mississippi College. The senior finished second on the squad with seven total tackles, led by three solo stops and 2.5 tackles for a loss of 13 yards. The Columbus, Ohio native also posted 1.5 sacks for seven yards in FIT’s first-ever four-game winning streak.
