Shorter running back B.J. McCoy is the SU’s second Offensive winner in three weeks. The junior led the Hawks’ ground attack in Saturday’s GSC-TV setback at West Alabama, amassing 210 yards on 22 attempts for a 9.5 per-carry average. He also ran for two touchdowns led by a 92-yard scamper in the second quarter. The Villa Rica, Ga. native’s rushing total was the highest in the GSC this season and the most by a league player since 2013 and his 92-yard run was the fourth-longest in Conference history.
