Amy Carpenter is this week’s Gulf South Conference Women's Cross Country Freshman Runner of the Week. Carpenter captures her second straight Freshman accolade. The Indianapolis, Ind. native ran a time of 19:19 at the 5K Royals Cross Country Challenge in Charlotte, N.C. that was good enough for a 14th place effort among the non-D1 field. She helped the Lady Flames to a first-place team effort in the 30-team event.
