Delta State defensive back Jon Knox is DSU’s second Defensive honoree of the year after having a direct hand in three of the Statesmen’s four turnovers in Saturday’s home setback to Florida Tech. The senior nabbed three interceptions for Delta State, becoming just the 13th player in league history to intercept at least three passes in a game. His first INT came at DSU’s 25-yard line in the second quarter, while his final two came near midfield in the third and fourth frames. The Statesboro, Ga. native also racked up eight tackles led by three solo stops and one tackle for a loss of three yards.
