Shorter quarterback Aaron Bryant became SU’s first-ever Offensive winner, leading the Hawks to a 42-23 victory at Mississippi College. The converted sophomore slotback accounted for all but one of Shorter’s five offensive touchdowns, tying a school record and setting the 2015 league mark with four TDs. The Landrum, S.C. native combined for 150 yards, led by 99 yards on a game-high 17 carries. His touchdown total made him the 18th player in GSC history to run for at least four TDs in a game and the 20th player to rack up at least 24 points.
