Sarah Mumme captures Delta State’s first ever Gulf South Conference Women's Cross Country Freshman Runner of the Week honor. 

The Holcomb, Miss. native was DSU’s top runner at the Rhodes College Invitational, finishing the 6K race with a time of 24:09.54.  Mumme’s 35th place effort earned her a spot in the Lady Statesmen’s record books, holding the 15th fastest time for a 6K race in school history.
