West Georgia defensive end Alex Armah is UWG’s first defensive honoree of the season, after the junior spearheaded the Wolves’ 56-0 home shutout of SIAC Clark-Atlanta. The Lawrenceville, Ga. native tied for the team-high in tackles with seven along with four solo stops. He also led all players with 3.5 tackles for a loss of 14 yards and 2.0 sacks for 13 yards. His number of tackles behind the line of scrimmage also tied him for tops in the GSC so far this season.
