Union middle blocker Casi Neff (Fr.; Thorntown, Ind.) was named the Gulf South Conference Volleyball Freshman of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Neff helped Union to a 3-0 week, including two conference victories. She recorded 27 kills, contributed nine digs, hit for a .347 percentage and had nine blocks, seven versus Christian Brothers. She also had five service aces, including four against CBU.
