West Florida forward
Kaley Ward (Jr.; Saint Cloud, Fla.) was named the Gulf South Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Ward had four goals in two matches last week. She scored a 'hat trick' against top-ranked Rollins, a 5-1 victory for West Florida. It was the first three-netter for UWF since 2013. She also tallied a goal against Tampa.
Ward, a transfer from region rival Tampa, now has five goals in her team's first four matches to start the 2015 campaign.
