West Alabama quarterback Dezmon Huntley sparked UWA's offense in the second half, guiding the Tigers to a 34-8 home win over Cumberland (Tenn.) on Thursday night. West Alabama trailed CC, 8-7, at halftime, but Huntley was inserted into the lineup for injured starter Trent Thompson, and the Mableton, Ga. native responded by leading UWA to 27 unanswered points. Huntley ran for a game-high 85 yards on 10 carries along with a TD and he also complete 4-for-4 passes for 100 yards and two more scores.
