Delta State goalkeeper Taylor Taffo (Fr.; King City, Ontario, Canada) was named the Gulf South Conference Women's Soccer Defender of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Taffo pitched a shutout in a 1-0 win against Montevallo last week. The freshman goalie turned away 10 shots on 12 shots faced.
