West Georgia outside hitter Helen Menchinger (Sr.; Fayetteville, Ga.) was named the Gulf South Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Menchinger was a force over four matches for West Georgia last week. The senior killed 51 on 111 attempts for a .387 hitting percentage and averaged 3.64 kills-per-set.
 
Menchinger also had five aces, 19 digs and three blocks in 14 sets.
