West Florida outfielder
Nick Kerkmann (Fr.; Oviedo, Fla.) was named the Gulf South Conference Baseball Freshman of the Week on Tuesday.
Kerkmann paced West Florida at the plate last week going 7-14 (.500) with two doubles and six RBI.
Kerkmann has now earned GSC Freshman of the Week honors three times this season, having previously done it 2/10 and 3/24.
