Alabama Huntsville outfielder Victoria Crumpton (Fr.; Hatton, Ala.) was named the Gulf South Conference Softball Freshman of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Crumpton went 8-for-15 (.533) with two RBI over five games, including two against Montevallo and three versus North Alabama. She also was a perfect 4-4 in the stolen bases department.
