Nick Kerkmann (Fr.; Oviedo, Fla.) was named the Gulf South Conference Baseball Freshman of the Week on Tuesday.
Kerkmann hit .375 (3-8) with a homerun, two doubles, two RBI and four runs in a three-game series against West Georgia last week.
