Delta State outfielder Brandon Cummins (Jr.; Drew, Miss.) was named the Gulf South Conference Baseball Player of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Cummins led the Statesmen at the plate going 9-for-16 (.563) with three doubles, a triple, homerun and six RBI. He also scored eight runs.
