Alabama Huntsville pitcher Mitchell Wright (Sr.; Pelham, Ala.) was named the Gulf South Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Wright tossed a seven-inning, complete-game shutout against Shorter last week. He fanned eight and only allowed three hits.
