Valdosta State outfielder Brandy Morgan (Fr.; Jasper, Fla.) was named the Gulf South Conference Softball Freshman of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Hit .333 (4-for-12) with a double and four RBI over five games versus both Florida Southern and North Alabama last week.
 
Morgan has now earned GSC Freshman of the Week three times this season, including in consecutive weeks (2/24/15, 3/4/15).
