Valdosta State outfielder Brandy Morgan (Fr.; Jasper, Fla.) was named the Gulf South Conference Softball Freshman of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Hit .667 (4-6) with two home runs in both games against Delta State last week. She racked up eight RBI and scored four runs as well.
 
Morgan has now earned GSC Freshman of the Week twice this season, including in consecutive weeks (2/24/15).
