West Alabama infielder Audrey Diekmann (Fr.; Niceville, Fla.) was named the Gulf South Conference Softball Freshman of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Diekmann hit a homerun, double and brought in four RBI in five games last week. She went 7-for-17 (.412) from the plate and scored eight runs.
