Courtney Albritton (Sr.; Sycamore, Ga..) was named the Gulf South Conference Softball Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Albritton went 8-for-14 (.571 batting average) over four games last week. She smacked two home runs, including a walk-off homerun versus Columbus State, and scored seven runs.
Albritton is no stranger to garnering attention both on and off the playing surface. She was a 2014 GSC Commissioner's Trophy recipient, All-GSC First Team, an NCAA Elite 89 winner, First Team All-Region, First Team All-America and an All-GSC Academic Team honoree.
