HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tigers struck first in the top of the first inning when Luke Phillips singled to center field to score Nick Delgado.
- But Peyton Sockwell’s RBI single in the bottom of the first tied the game, 1-1.
- In the bottom of the second, the Lions pulled ahead when Ben Cooley scored on an error by the left fielder.
- West Alabama tied the game in the top of the fifth when Brock Montgomery scored on an RBI groundout by Phillips. Dylan Little followed with a two-run home run to right field to put the Tigers back on top, 4-2.
- In the top of the ninth, Josh Winningham scored on a fielder’s choice to clinch the win for West Alabama, 5-2. 

NOTABLES
- Nick Delgado extended his hitting streak to 16 games and on base streak to 23 games—the longest of any West Alabama player this season.
- Dylan Little’s two-run home run in the top of the fifth was his third of the season.
- Luke Phillips recorded his 15th multi-RBI game of the season.
- The Tigers hit five doubles—tying their season high.  
- Starting pitcher for the Lions, Devan Traglia, struck out six batters—four batters shy of his season high.
