HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Argonauts struck first when Matt Sullivan homered to right field.
- Sullivan smashed his second home run of the game in the bottom fourth to extend UWF’s lead to 2-0 over West Alabama.  
- After five scoreless innings, the Tigers tied the game in the top of the ninth. Luke Phillips scored the Tigers’ first run on a muffed throw by the second baseman. Tyler Lee doubled to left field, scoring Dylan Little for West Alabama’s second run and tying the game, 2-2.
- With the score still tied after the bottom of the ninth, the game proceeded to extra innings.
- In the bottom of the 10th, Chase Kiefer scored on a sac fly by Ladeavon Matthews to clinch the win for West Florida, 3-2. 

NOTABLES
- West Florida tied its season high in home runs.
- Matt Sullivan recorded his first career home run and is tied for the team lead for most home runs in a game.
- Nick Delgado’s double in the top of the eighth inning extended his hitting streak to 15 games and on base streak to 22 games—the longest of any West Alabama player this season. 
- The Argonauts committed five errors, tying their season high and the ninth most committed by a GSC team this season.
- West Alabama’s starting pitcher, Cole Waites, struck out nine batters—the second most strikeouts he has recorded all season.
- Starting pitcher for West Florida, Walker O’Connor, struck out a season-high seven batters.
