NOTABLE
- The Hawks did what few could do this year: score off of Becca Taylor. Taylor was a First Team All-GSC selection, but the senior gave up four runs in the first two innings.
- West Florida was able to chip away at the lead, scoring once in the third inning and once in the fourth.
- Trailing 4-3 with two outs and runners on second and third base, Tiona Hill was able to give the Argos the win with a single to right center.
UP NEXT
Shorter has been eliminated from the tournament and, since the Lady Hawks are currently ranked ninth in the South Region, will fall short of the NCAA Tournament. UWF, the top team in the South Region, will face the winner of Mississippi College and Lee tomorrow afternoon.
