Montgomery, Ala. – Valdosta State punched its ticket to the GSC Women’s Tennis Tournament Championship with a 5-1 win over West Alabama on Friday.

Valdosta State advances to Saturday, April 22, to meet West Florida in a rematch of last season’s GSC Women’s Tennis Tournament Championship at 11am (CT). In fact, the two squads have met in nine of the last 10 finals, including the last three-consecutive. The meeting will be the Lady Blazers and Argonauts 13th battle in the GSC Finals. They have come away with the trophy in three of those meetings (2005, 2008 and 2010).
