Lee takes control of round one at the men's golf championship

Round One
The Lee Flames ended the first round with a four-shot advantage at the GSC Men’s Golf Championship on Monday. The Flames shot 291 to end the day three over par, four strokes ahead of defending champion West Florida.
Lee’s Shea Sylvester and West Florida’s Chandler Blanchet currently sit atop the leaderboard, both at one under par. The Argos’ Talin Rajendranath shot 72 to stay even and is in sole possession of third place after 18 holes.
Thirteen players are within three shots of the lead after Sunday, including all five of Lee’s competing golfers.
Round two of the tournament will start on Monday at 8:00 am and the championship will conclude on Tuesday.
