Clinton, Miss. – Mississippi College snuck by West Georgia with a 2-1 overtime win in the First Round of the Gulf South Conference Women’s Soccer Tournament on Tuesday.

KEY MOMENT
MC’s Gaylynn Cooper scored the equalizer in the 59
th minute, which allowed for the eventual game-winning goal by Lauren Smith in overtime.

The win marked the first-ever GSC Tournament win for Mississippi College, including in its first season of NCAA Division II eligibility.
