VALDOSTA, Ga. – Reagan Tittle blasted a lead-off home run in the sixth inning as third-seeded North Alabama rallied past second-seeded Alabama Huntsville 3-1 in the second round of the GSC Softball Championship.

KEY MOMENT
After allowing the winning run to the plate with one out in the bottom of the seventh, UNA starter Bree Blevins got a ground out and forced GSC Player of the Year Kaitlin Bannister into a pop up to seal the victory.
 
QUOTABLE
"I can't say enough about Bree Blevins. She fought through some adversity late in the season and really came out today and showed heart and determination. She held us in the game until our bats came around. She just kept getting outs for us and our bats came around when we needed them most,” UNA head coach Ashley Cozart said.
 
NOTABLE
·         Tittle has homered in each of her first two GSC Tournament games this year.
·         North Alabama defeats UAH for the first time in eight match-ups during the GSC Tournament.
·         The Lions have won four straight against the Chargers since a 2014 GSC Tournament loss ended their season last year.
·         UAH loses in their opening tournament game for only the fourth time in school history. In 1996, the Chargers rallied from a day one loss to claim the program’s first tournament title.
 
UP NEXT
UNA advances to Friday’s winners bracket final at 3:00 and will face the winner of #1 Valdosta State versus #4 Shorter. UAH will face the loser of that game in an elimination contest at 12:30pm Friday.
